Our Mission
Our Mission is to be a catalyst to serve people locally and globally by helping to meet their social, economic, educational, health and spiritual needs resulting in long-term growth and transformation.
For the past 25 years, several churches, organizations and individuals in the Greater Nashville area have served and connected with various communities in Guatemala City, Guatemala. About 15 years ago, we began building homes and lives in a relatively new community called Las Conchas. The children of Las Conchas, Guatemala, live in a country with the fourth highest rate of chronic malnutrition in the world and the highest in Latin America. (wfp.org) With the partnership of churches and organizations, we have seen the following in Las Conchas.
• More than 506 people have accepted Christ
• Construction of the first floor of a Community Development Center/Church (almost complete!)
• 525 children in Las Conchas school receive meals 5 days a week through the Hope Wall Project
• 16+ home groups meet weekly in Las Conchas
• Support of on-site staff to support our efforts
